Please pray for this sweet little boy who is fighting for his life. Gavin and I went to ACU with his parents. Please check out his site to see pics and journal updates by his parents. Thank you!! http://www.totsites.com/tot/bennettmitchell
Elizabeth, I just want you to know that I saw your comment on Bennett's blog and found your blog again (I'm not much of a blog surfer, so I go back through every few months and refresh myself on what's up in blog world.) I read your post on Eveyn and I'm currently bawling. Thank you for your honesty and candor. I'm tired of hearing about grief as if it's something that you get over and your post reminds me again that the grieving process is a lifelong burden, as are many of our struggles on this earth. I've never grieved like you have, but I've lived all my life with people whose grief catches them at weird moments, so in some way it's very much a part of my life.
I will pray for you for years to come, in strange moments when your story comes back to me; I will pray that God continues to grant you peace. Thank you for being available to share your story of pain. It reminds me of "Blessed Be Your Name," my favorite song, about how in dark times and in wonderful times, we will continue to praise God. Thank you for the simple and direct way in which you do that.
